OpenAI
Connect OpenAI's models to DashX. Once installed, this integration becomes available as a model provider in AI Hub.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites
Before setting up the OpenAI integration, ensure you have:
- An active DashX account
- An OpenAI account with billing enabled
Create an API key
- Sign in to the OpenAI platform
- Open API keys from your account settings
- Create a new secret key and give it a recognisable name (e.g.
dashx-integration) - Copy the key immediately
warning
The secret key is shown only once. Store it securely — if you lose it, create a new key and update the integration.
Connect to DashX
- Log in to your DashX workspace
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations
- Click [+] to add a new integration and select OpenAI
- Choose the environments you want to enable it for
- Enter the configuration below and save

Usage
With the integration installed, OpenAI models can be selected when configuring agents and other AI features in AI Hub.
tip
Use a separate API key per environment so you can revoke development access without affecting production.
